I would love to own this car-Mk2 Cav LXi!

Just found this on Autotrader, a Nice Cavalier LXi.

Back in the day my dad used to have the Polar White Club model and we used

for one of these LXi's, but never managed to find a decent one, and then we moved onto the Mk3 Cavalier.....so

!

This one is in great nick....if I had the money and time, I would think of this as a worthwhile investment, and it will be a collectors item soon as most of these are dead.

If i was going for one it would be a Gold SRi.I have been looking at early XR3I's but want
something in red circa 81 ish and good ones are hard to find

We had a C reg Cav SRi saloon when I was a kid. To this day my old man says it was the best car he's had. It was metallic burgundy and went like poo off a stick. I can still remember the high pitched wine of the fuel pump. C393 DWU, if the I ever saw that car again I'd buy it in a shot.

yep i saw that one and tbh im desperate to get my mitts on a mk2 cavvy but they all seem to be at the other end of the country to me aarrgghh

saw a mk2 cavvy hatchback sri in red sat in u pull it two weeks ago was in the pick a car section were you can get everything but the shell was a 150 plus vat i agrued like hell with the manager if i could buy it must have spent best part of 2 hours begging to buy it dnt think he realised they are rarer than rocking horse poo ended up calling my dad and told him to bring trailer by this point still hadnt got the car but was going to collect some parts for my other car just before was leaving got shouted back by the manager he had rung his boss and they said yes along as it was 550 quid more than i wanted to pay but said yes got it home turns out it has had massive smash and was cut and shut so ended up stripping it for parts anyway could have saved myself nearly 400 quid if i had realised at first

one less sri mk2 :'(
