Thats scary, just found this vid and watched it - then you posted it !!
Thats even worse lol
Thats pretty hard hitting..
It was the unresponsive baby that hit me hardest.
This should be shown to all new drivers
...and I really mean that! We all are guilty of funking about at times when on the road whether we have the stones to admit it or not. But I do have younger mates who STILL insist on no seat-belts, texting and phone stuck to ear.. Boils my **** as when I tell them to belt up etc all I get is Kevin & Perry style mumblings..
I just wish adverts like this would have the effect on people like them as it does on me!
I think its having kids that makes me think oohh
Seeing the babies eyes in that vid... i instantly think of my own kids... and i serioussly start to get emotional.... like its my own child im looking at..
... will it ever have any effect on those ppl who dont have a care in the world and who are to stuck up their own backside to even think ... wait a minute i may not be just a good a driver as i think i am etc etc....
Unfort i dont think it will
every bit as bad as drink drivers. texters/phoners are killers on the roads, and should be banned for doing so just like drink drivers. immediately.
texting should definitely be clamped down on.
However if you can't hold a phone call and drive at the same time, you shouldn't be behind the wheel at all....
it's illegal to use the regular phones too, 3 points on the licence. hands free ok, but the killers who have the phone held up to their ear while driving deserve all the penalties they get.
