    Its the paint that will be the most expensive, bodyshops seem to buy it in half litres, and you'd probably be looking at about £60 - £80 to get one done in your average bodyshop.

    I got quoted £110 to get a VXR one painted & fitted, so probably in the region of £80 - £90 for paint only.

    don paul painted mine mate .

    £60


    drop him a pm he comes reccomended and id use him again...

    You would need to courier it to him if your not local (£7) and then arrange courier back

    it would cost you £about 40 in paint and laqure if you do it your self so £60 is a bargain

    Judas, let me know if you go ahead with this via don paul as I'm thinking about having my chrome boot strip painted. Mine's panacotta as well and it would be easier for him to do both at the same time while he's got the paint in the gun (might even save us a couple of quid if he's sharing the paint cost between us!!). That's assuming he's happy to do it of course!

    I won't be able to sort anything out for a week or so though as I'm getting on a plane to Turkey in a couple of hours

    Sorry to hijack but how easy are those copy ones on ebay to fit? How do you fit them?

    easy - they stick with 3M double sided tape - imo the hard thing is getting it lined up....lol

    Really? Not bonded on or anything? does the 3m hold up at high speeds?
