    Default Drilled and grooved front+rear discs

    I am interested in this kit on ebay;

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/VECTRA-C-1-9-C...d=p3286.c0.m14

    The only problem is I do not know if that is the correct disc size for mine. I have tried to measure and they look the correct size but it is impossible to measure accurately. It is a 2007 1.8 exclusiv, does anyone know what size they came with as standard?

    Thanks

    As far as I can work out they are the same measurements as your own car :
    Front 285mm ventilated
    Rear 278mm solid

    Whether they will actually fit is a different matter!

    One think I do note from the photo is there are only four holes for wheel fitment, I think there should be five
    Equally, I doubt ventilated rear discs would fit

    Ironically at that price you could probably get OEM ones supplied and fitted at a local VX dealership!

    Also bear in mind... Grooved discs 'hum' when you brake. It's cool for the first 1000 miles but 15,000 miles later with no real sign of wearing, mine are definitely starting to annoy me now...

    All Vauxhall brakes are made by ATE and no, vented wont fit the back, I am in the process of upgrading all brakes to GSI vented, grooved and drilled and have found out that the GSI will take Vented on the rear as the distance between piston and caliper end is about 12mm long than standard. so simple answer to vented rears is no without changing caliper £75 trade, £120 over counter.
