Problem noises? warranty runs out on 148 miles :(

hi Me again. my noises and what i think they are, do you agree?

I get a quick knocking from the front N/S wheel if driving over anything slightly bumpy? does this sound like a anti roll bar link? i cant see anything broke? also on the same wheel on full lock it clicks, so presume this is the CV joint?

The car has done 59,853 miles so warranty ends very soon. Upon noticing this noise i now have a metalic whining noise from about 1800 rpm? it goes gets louder with the increase of rpm. i keep thinking the turbo as its ok on idle?

i just hope VXL find these faults anddont try and mug me off.

It certainly sounds like the CV joint with the clicking when you turn at full lock and it may well be the front drop links too for your knocking on the bumps. Although if your CV joint has gone then this may also be causing the knocking on the bumpy stuff too, so you may only have one problem (CV Joint).

Good luck and hope you get it sorted for free, if your worried about the whining noise then take it to a local garage for a diagnosis before presenting it to Vx that way you have a good professional 2nd opinion before Vx try and palm you off with some excuse just so you fall outside the warranty before going back with said problem.

still got this knocking? warranty up now

its getting worse

if i pull away,bumps,full lock get a deep knocking from nsf? cant see any thing out of feel play any where? any more ideas?

been in 3 times and it doesnt do it when out on test drives

Do u take them out in the car to show them?

If not... make sure you do. take it somewhere you know it always happens

it always happens on bumpy roads or on full lock but the roads near dealers are perfect lol they have been out with me spending 20 min or so with me. they are trying. i have bilstien n eibach shocks n spring so cant moan at them too much, i hit this whell a few weeks ago after hitting a small dear, wheels been sprayed n tested-they ok, also had 4 wheel tracking done-thats ok? could the shock be shot? drop links look ok?
