    Default lowering puts settings out?

guys, had to get a new tire today (budget) cause mine blew on the motorway last night, lucky i was only doing 50! any way tlaking to the chap (didnt seem overly cleaver) and he said i need my tracking done or something but as ive ordered lowering springs i asked would it be better to wait untill these are fitted first?
he said i would even fit lowering springs it just puts out all your settings and you will be lucky to get it right..

    how accurate is that...

    Yip as all have said.

Lowering is perfectly fine, get the alignment/tracking done post lowering and they'll straighten that steering wheel up for you also.

Rite i went back to the garage this morining as their was a slight judder thru the steering at about 40mph, so i thought maybe a weight came off or wasnt put on but NOPE, im told theirs 90grams of weights on it and it has a slight "buckle" ****** typicle! so i took the wheel from the baack, tested it and put that on the front and visa versa all tires look like new though but the back ones obviously arnt but are still plenty off tread.

    heres my concern.

if i remember correctly do grages not require you to have brand new tires on the front before doing tracking? if thats the case im ****** i aint buying any more ****** tires for these ****** 19" wheels! mind you.. my steering seems straight again im just gonna check tire pressure on the way to work etc and set it at 36 on the fronts, dunno about the backs maybe softer cause im terrified that the back end might slip out in rain or something..

I have never heard this before and have most of my cars done and they didn't have new tyres on any of them, let alone the front.

just foned a few places regarding the tracking, the Garage in wishaw wants £65!! for all four wheels, Drivers in glasgow are £47 for four wheels, they never mentioned anything about the tires or anything and i never asked .
Maybe try a few other places too only problem is drivers want a days notice but i need the car for work so dont wanna drive it if the tracking is all out to ****
