I am glad I have a trailor for things like the tiles, and taking things to the tip. We hook it on the wifes vectra b and off we go, she has seen how easy I can revers the trailor and wanted to have a go, absolutly no chance she made a right mess of it, she finds it difficult to revers the car, so with a trailor no chance, maybe with a little more practice though.

lol @ Tony. Reminds me of a time when I was at B&Q. Saw a Merc or BMW estate loading up with a sh*t load of tiles. I could see it was more than was going to be manageable - this could be interesting I thought. Rightly enough, as soon as he pulled off you could hear the back tyres rubbing like billyo on the arches. He had to stop as he wasn't going to get very far. He couldn't even take some back inside the store, as in the time he had loaded them up, they had closed!

In the end he offloaded some of them, and his wife to 'stand guard' while he took the first batch home. From what I overheard she was none too pleased as they were a bit of a distance away so she had a long wait!!! Oops!
