    Default K&N Removed, what a difference ...

Removed the K&N panel filter today and put the original back in ..

What a difference it makes, when I put it in I thought it was better, but then thought maybe it`s all in the mind kinda thing, though the flatspots were certainly better. After putting it back to standard today the car is sluggish, low end power has decreased so much, the K&N just gives it more of a bite ...

Really morale of the story, well worth investing in a K&N on a 2.2 anyhoo ....

    Default K&N!!

    Fitted a K&N a fortnight ago.

Now i have it back to standard filter.

I think the K&N filters are over ratted?

With the K&N i had no mid range and at the top end felt flat.

I think the only think that would work on the 2.2 is a reprogramed ecu!

A few years back i had a Citroen BX 16valve.
    Put in a K&N.
ran it for a few weeks and out it came with the same results as above.

Thats the last time ill be getting a K&N.

    Default RE K&N.

    Hi storey 3000.

I remember a mechanic once told me that there is no point in
fitting a K&N and expecting more ooph.
Because its the air flow sensor and ecu that controle the power
    off the car!!

Must say it did make a improvment on my Honda Blackbird!!

Why are they so globally popular though. Don't like touring cars etc use them?
