this guy was on britains got talent this year. the weirdo who did the 'irish jig' . branded himself a preacher or something like that. got a long history with the police.

    The Dark Horse
Neil HoranWe thought Irish folk dancer Neil Horan was just a sweet old man who liked a jig now and again.

But no, it was revealed this week that not only is he a disgraced man of the cloth, but also a bit of professional disruptor of organised events.

A protester to you and us. Who'd have thought it?

He was excommunicated by the Catholic church when, after being aquitted for incident assault, he showed off by dancing a jig on the steps of the Old Bailey.

Neil was jailed for running on to a Formula 1 track during the British Grand Prix and repeated the stunt at Silverstone holding a banner that read: "Read the bible. The Bible is always right." And at the Athens Olympics he dragged the leading marathon runner off the track. Crikey.

Neil reckoned the show producers were fully aware of his past but the Britain's Got Talent bods have said otherwise, a spokesperson said: "Neil attended auditions to display his talent at Irish dancing and his past only came to light following his performance."
