    Default Replacing Number Plate Bulbs...

Before I get my screwdriver out and hack it to pieces, I thought I'd better ask how you remove the light from the rear bumper to get at the bulbs to replace..??? TIA

    Beaten to it, but anyway...

There are 2 separate bulb units above the numberplate on my pre-facelift hatch.

Each one has a large clip on the right-hand side - insert a large flatblade screwdriver into the slot so that the right-handside of the unit drops down out of the bumper.

Pull the light unit down but note that it's on quite a short cable.

Once the cable is visible, twist the cable connector 90 degrees so that it is released from the light unit. The bulb will be sat on the end of the cable connector.

Both sides and the same, and refitting is the reverse of removal.
