    just want to know if anyone else had one and could pass on any tips of use really as i have never done anything with a machine polisher but want to get really good at it. Think my life will no be on detailing world.

    ...give it a go (the DA's are pretty safe to start machining with) mate, you'll be amazed by the results.

    What i am still trying to get my head round is all the different kinds of pads and polishing gear there is. Is it just a case of try some and see what suites your car the best

    Start off with the least aggressive and see what results you get and go from there. Don't start with a heavy cut if its not needed
    Now I need a turbo to keep up!

    If I can test a rotary on my car and get the hang of it, then I am sure you could do the same with the "safer" DA

    yeah i think i could but the other half thinks i am going to do something bad to it so i said i would get one to please her and prove i know what im doing
