Karting

Does anybody fancy a Karting meet later in the year, possibly after the show season has finished?

Been checking out the Castle Combe track, they can do a private Gran Prix session for £45 each, consisting of:

• SAFETY BRIEFING
• PRACTICE [timed]
• 4 QUALIFYING HEATS [approx 5 laps per heat]
• SEMI-FINAL FOR EVERY DRIVER [approx 5 laps]

The laps may be reduced if weather is too wet, or during Winter if light conditions are reduced.

The Winner of each semi-final qualifies for the GRAND FINAL and races off for the top three trophy positions.


They also have facillities for BBQ etc. I'd have to check on numbers of drivers needed and what dates are available, if you're initially interested chuck your name down here:

I'm thinking get the show season over, including the 'extra' show Andy is looking at doing at Billing, so perhaps the first weekend in October, maybe last week or so of September depending on when the last official club meet of the summer is.
