    Default Claying

Have read the top thread but still unsure.
With the claying process do you--

A--Apply clay like polish, rubbing over a panel in circular motion

B--Just rub once over one part of panel in strips, and never return over same part

Also do you need to 'polish' off the clay after each panel or do the whole car.

First, rip the clay into 2 or 3 pieces. That way, if you drop it, you can discard it.

Then, apply clay lube/quick detailer to the paintwork.

Rub the clay across the paintwork using light pressure - the clay will pick up the surface bonded contaminents.

Re-apply clay lube if the clay starts to drag across the panel.

You'll need to wash the car again before you move onto paint correction/polish/LSP.
