Ihave had three rear wheel bearings on my car in 35000 miles but as i think most people like me have had them done under warranty i do know they are a sealed unit which contains the whole hub and the sensors for the ABS/TRACTION CONTROL/ESP From what ive seen i dont think its a hard job to change them just unbolt old and refit with new unit HTH

    Back in a V6 !!!!!!!!!!!! And lovin it !!!

i have just done my first front wheel bearing yesterday & they are quite expensive £128 +vat retail or £89 +vat =£105 trade. with the front it comes in one peice hub/bearing/abs sensor so everything is renewd each time. i found it vary easy to do .it took me about less than 1 hour to do .i asume the back can not be any harder because there is no driveshaft . you will need sum inverted torx ..........hope this helps a little
