Fitted my Irmy pedals at the weekend




And also decided to paint my calipers. Front ones done....back ones next weekend.

I was swithering over doing them jet black (white decals) but I thought that you'd probably not notice them.

Do you think I should inform the insurance company?

I used the Hammerite Smooth 'straight to rust' paint as recommended by lots of folk on here. Gave the calipers a real good scrub with a wire brush and lots of Brake Cleaner.

The only problem I foresee is that I'm going to change the discs soon and getting the retaining clip off wasn't easy. Now that the calipers are painted, I'm going to scratch them to b3ggery when I come to try and take them off!!

Anyone know of an easy way to stop me scratching them?
