Default Broken Pollen Filter Clip, any ideas?

I noticed my pollen filter clip was broken when I checked it today to unplug the drain hole. Any ideas for keeping the pollen filter in place with a broken clip, as it was just flapping about on one end?
Apologies if this is in the wrong section, I tried to post in the air conn section, but it told me I didnt have access????

Serious answer - wedge it in with something such as a bit of cardboard on the top edge if it's really lose.

Every PF I've fitted has just wedged itself in with no need for the clips. In fact my 02 GSi has no clips whatsoever as I broke them off the first time I changed it.

The top clip was already broken on my previous vec-c when I had it new, unless dealer broke it off.

I used a small length of self adhesive hook/loop strip...positioned on the top edge, it did the job very nicely without looking too much of a bodge.

Just meant I had to put a new piece on each time I changed the filter, but no big deal.

Sorry matey could'nt think of what it was properly called... the wife just shouted through to me..... saying that I meant self adhesive Velcro tape.

One strip inside top edge on plastic housing the other side on the top of the filter, stops it moving around too which the original clips did'nt very well.

I had the same thing - a broken clip. I keep my pollen filter in place with a small rawlplug with 2 side splits opposite each other and I wedge the rawlplug against the clip along the metal side support to keep it in place.
