Unhappy Vx in Malvern Finished for Good

As title, after the closure of the Bicknells dealership in Worcestershire, including the Malvern branch at the end of May, it was a wait to see what happened.

Now the site is re-opening under the name of P J Nicholls - an equally well known and respected local area Ford dealer. Probably in addition, mopping up the remains of Brooklyn's who closed soon after, the Ford dealer for the area then.

So, no doubt they will be a good dealership, just the wrong franchise.

Means I (and a few others around here) will always have to go to Worcester now for parts etc.

But at least you can get parts, if you had a Insignia you will have dificulty getting any parts from anywhere in UK, as there's none being currently stocked. Everything has to be ordered and delivered from Germany, and they have few spares over there too mainly due to the uncertainty and financial restraint implications which is unlikely to get sorted untill well after the takeover has been sorted out. Its curently taking 3 weeks or more for parts to come through.

Back on topic...lol. yes its a shame that little Bicknell branch on Pickering Rd had to go, I used to find it handy too. I had a look around Baylis's in Worcester last week, and was surprised to find they hardly have any vectra's in at all, and the couple they have in stock are way overpriced.
