Default 1 Pair of Astra/Meriva/Corsa/Insignia Sun Glasses Holders

These are 2 sunglasses holders which fit in the place of the grab handle above the front doors. (or back doors if you wish) lol

These were purchased just a week ago from here.

    http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/SUNGLASSES-HOL...d=p3286.c0.m14

Due to the lack of front storage area on the Insignia I thought I would fit a couple of these to carry my sunglasses. As quite a few Insignia owners have done exactly this.

Though not listed for the Insignia, they will fit, by just cutting off the 2 locating pegs. (Not needed anyway) the spacing of the 2 mounting bolts are exactly the same. Though I would recommend on the Insignia you use shorter bolts.

You may be thinking why I did'nt use them, I like to be honest so I will tell you...lol
From other members who had done this mod I was told that it did'nt quite cover the bottom of the roofing trim, and this is true, if one were to look directly underneath the holder when its mounted you can just detect that the mounting plate through which each bolt goes through does not quite cover the roof lining on the bottom edge, so about 1mm edge can be seen, but you really have to look for it, otherwise its not noticable.

Me..being me am extremely fussy, and I decided not to bother fitting them, I'm sure others would be quite happy... personal thing.
There are quite a few threads showing pics with them fitted and they look fine. The colour BTW is a very close match to the interior of the insignia, and is a light grey like the Insignia. (It looks sort of beige in pics due to flash I think). They can of course be fitted to most vauxhalls that have the overhead grab handles.

These cost me almost £17 with the postage.

I dont require any money for them myself whatsoever.

However I do request that you make a minimum donation of £10.00 to the forums 'Help the Heroes' appeal.

    Here...

Once a donation is made I will post them to you, and I will also stand the cost of the postage. That way you save some money, and the charity gains a wee bit more. If you feel like donating more than a tenna, brilliant, but thats up to you.
    So thats the deal!
