Sat Nav CD70 NAVI

My 2008 Vectra Elite is fitted with the standard CD70 NAVI Sat Nav system about which I have two questions:

1 - what is the newest navigation disc available - mine is copywrited 2005 !

2 - can this navigation system be upgraded to detect enforcement camera's ?

Yes there are new maps availablefrom Navteq

No the POI's can't be updated with cameras etc.

iv heard there is a 2009/2010 disc out just now mine is 2008/2009

a 2008 car with a 2005 disk? Sounds a bit wrong!

Just looked on Navteq website where 2009/10 version is £89.00.

After vat and postage its nearer £100 I have just bought one and compared to my 2007-2008 map disc I cannot see any differance a new estate(housing) built just behind me nearlly 2 years ago is not even on the 2009 2010 disc

Thanks for that information... I'm pleased I have not upgraded my 07/08 disc now.
I'm also reluctant to spend £89 for UK and major europe when u can get the whole of europe for £169 but if the updates aren't really updated, I don't think I'll bother.
