Default Brand New EGR Valve Fitted and.....

the FLAT SPOT is still there.

    !

    What next........I give up!!

    !

Why is this such a stupid problem...surely there must be a fix....surely someone has found a resolution. ITS ONLY between 1 - 2k rpm and after that its fine, and there are no other issues, and its been serviced and its had the airbox mod and its got an K&N Panel Filter!!!

Have you cleaned the boost sensor? Check the MAF too.

Yeah, the MAF potentially, but from your other pics, the inlet manifold had a tremendous amount of crud in there - could be that (again).... especially of when it was changed they fitted the older style one....

The inlet wasnt too dirty this time, just a bit of soot......which the carb cleaner soon sorted out. I even had the battery disconected this in the hope that it will reset something!

What do I need to do with the MAF?

The boost sensor has been cleaned also, will do it again! Any recommendations what to clean it with?

OK, so how exactly does that work? Also, if there is a problem with my MAF then how come no codes have flagged up?
