    Whats the best way to paint my sills to my dti design???
    prep ect???

    -Smooth them off before you do anything, try and rub them down without any paint or primer as much as you can or until it is smooth then clean them off.
    -Use a high build filler primer and do a few layers, 3-5 then rub as smooth as you can.
    -Use grey (or other if different) primer again 3-5 layers then rub smooth.
    -Coat in colour in very thin layers until covered then do a bit more to make sure, if not smooth then rub down, if it is nearly smooth then use a machine polisher with cutting compound.
    -Coat with clear laquer again in very thin layers.
    -Smooth with cutting compound to make a perfect finish and a near professional finish.

    Remember to use thin layers and let the primer layers thoroughly dry before rubbing down. I would suggest leaving them overnight to be sure. you should paint in roughly 25 degree heat but its not necessary and make a windproof area free from dust.

    it will get tedious so just have some patience

    EDIT: Use 600 wet/dry to smooth before primer, 800 for primer layers and 1200 for colour layers
