Default OIL TYPE, fuel pump and 2 plastic straps

Hi every please forgive me but im new to this forum and to vectra ownership, could anyone tell me what type/grade of engine oil i should be using, where the fuel pump is located and what the two plastic straps are for that are located on the underside of the tailgate? my car is an early vectra c 52plate 2.0dti ls 5door hatch, i was also led to beleive that vectra b's like semi synthetic oil and c's like fully synthetic which confused me as im sure i should be using fully synthetic but the vectra b's that had the same 2.0 dti engine as mine should be using sem synthetic? Many thanks in advance,

    mike

Cheers Rapala, looking at the service book it is no longer on the 'eco flex service plan anymore! when you open the tailgate and look up there are two plasti clip/straps, looks a bit like you could unclip it and put a spare reg plate there, but ive put my umbrella there!
