    Vehicle : Facelift Insignia/Corsa D

    Trim : LE/VXR

    Engine : 2.0 cdti/1.6 Turbo

    Year : 13/07

    Default Best place to buy??

    I'm needing
    2 rear shocks
    2 upper control arms
    2 front wheel bearings

all for my 2.2dti sri. Where is the best place to get good quality parts? I'd like to order them and get them all from the same place pretty cheap. I'd also prefer the shocks to be bilstein as the springs are eibach. Anyone know?? Cheers

    Hi John,

Have a look at LMF They can do all the parts your after with exception of the 2 rear upper control arms (boomerang shape)

I've just ordered Eibach Pro-Kit Spings with Bilstein B4 front and rear shocks and 2 front wheel bearings myself. I've had to get both rear upper contol arms from my local stealers, must have caught them on a good day cause they gave me the parts I ordered trade price.

    2 rear control arms
    2 front drop links
    ARB front and rear
    Rear pads
    All in for £190

They were fron Eden Vauxhall Exeter.

    Sorry
I had a look around on the net for the rear upper control arms but I just was not sure if they would be right. I went to the stealers and apparently they are 2 types available, one with a note of 'not for sports suspension' so I took that there was a normal set and a set sports set. I asked what the difference was and was told by the parts bloke one has 18mm hole and the other has a 19mm hole? My car is not SRI so wont have sports suspension so I opted for the 'not for sports suspention' set.

That is a pretty good price for them though. Mine were £66.

Just got a load of goodies today delivered by LMF (Eibach Pro-Kit Spings with Bilstein B4 front and rear shocks and 2 front wheel bearings). Of course I can't wait to get them on the car and have a good run about. But just for info - the Bilstein B4 front and rear shocks boxes came with Eurocarparts.com stickers on them. So it looks like it is where LMF get some of their bits atleast. Like You say, could have cut out the middleman. Going to visit Eurocarparts to see how much I could have saved.

Delighted that I've got my bits new suspension anyway but it's one for future, shop around.
