    Default Cleaning the inlet manifold on the V6CDTi - Pics inside

    Decided to have a go at it before cleaning the EGR.

    Before:






    1.5h and 0.5l of brake cleaner after and it's still not perfect:





    It's one hell of a job. Took me 1.5h just to take the manifold off.

    Even now if I just poke a finger in there I can feel bumps of soot lol
    I'll buy 2 bottles of 0.5l brake cleaner tomorrow. It has to shine, just like the throttle body on the 2.2DTi did lol. It's going to be quite a sweat this time though lol

    Soaked in petrol, then cleaned with a high pressure hose lol
