    Default Chrome window strips

    Wow, this is getting boring

ok, so my strips have now been replaced 4 times due to the whole "misting issue".

This time i told them just to put the black plastic strips on, like the Life model as im sick of having to keep getting them replaced.

    Now my question is simple:
Did the pre face lift have proper chrome strips or did it have the dodgy foil under plactic ones?

I just need a definate answer as I want to know why they wouldnt have just replcaced them with proper ones to stopp all this hassle.
    Cheers in advance

Just polish and protect them mate. Mine went dull, I polished them with NXT and they've been fine for the last 4 years.

I don't know what mine are but it is 56 plate and they have been fine. You are worrying me now, though I'd better go and protect them.

Mind that the whole glass has to be changed mate and is bonded in. They are still mint on my beast. They don't make me like they used to

The rear quarter glasses are not bonded they are held in with about 8, 9mm plastic bolts with foam as a seal. the hardest bit in changing them is removing all the inner quarter trim to get at the damn things!

I knew that there were bolts but some have sealer on them as well as the bolts.
