    Default spring compressor

just would like a few comments on the spring compressors that you use as the ones i have are a bit useless, they seem to be to long and can easily slip off the springs

our local motor factors /mod shop -hires a set for £6 for the day

they must make a small fortune on them - but worth hiring rather than buying for something you are hopefully only going to use once

They are good mate, the "fingers" are at an angle so that it sits properly on the spring

At £16 for the set that's not bad and if you've got Vx origional spings on then your gonna need them. Would probably work out cheeper than hire given the Vx springs track record? One goes one day another goes the following week. I do agree with another thread that this has also goto to do with the ever increasing state of our roads.

Anyway! Not a bad price and I think i'll invest in a set as I've just ordered new springs and shocks.
