Default sat nav with gatso detector

    Hey Guys

Has anyone any experience of these, what would you recommend??

Dont really have a budget in mind but obviously cheaper the better

Sorry its all a bit vague but im not really up to speed with this stuff

    thanks in advance

steven, i know the new road angel navigator is an all in one unit but its about £350, i also think i saw a chap on ebay selling the small garmin street pilot for about £130 including software to add all speed cam locations etc, that might be worth a look!!

I have a Tom Tom One with the www.pocketgps.co.uk speed traps on it, works really well for fixed cameras and costs less than a dedicated speed camera detector so you could say the sat nav is free. Only problem it the speed cameras activate on radius from your current location not based on the direction you a travelling in...if that makes sense?

ive owned a bluemedia bm6300 which i know come with a speed camera locator.. also very good maps ... you can get them from motorworld £299 .... i own a tom tom go 700 although you have to buy the speed cameras separate and are in the direction your travelling in , but there are so many other downloads avaliable including different voices , low bridges , fuel stations ( and specifics eg bp .. shell .. etc ) mcdonalds, burger king ,little chef, and lots more
also tom tom traffic is also avaliable so you'll never get stuck in a traffic jam again !!!subject to a £50 sub per annum
