Your aftermarket ISO will plug straight in the the Vec loom mate. The only thing you will need to do is get an ignition power from the Cigi lighter and you might need to swap the red and yellow wire on the aftermarket fuse holders.

    oooooooooooooooh!

just got in and the new stereo dvd mp3 blah blah etc thingy has been delivered!

thanks rushy, i will actually post some pics on here when iv done it all.

(im replacing main stereo with the above, and fitting a rear lcd screen and also an lcd screen in where the standard time/temp display goes, iv found an exact fitting screen for it 'with minor modificstions of course')

but should look ok as iv managed to source the exact paint match for the interior trim strips of the car. i thought this would be usefull if one needs to add the odd bit of kit/trim etc.

    thanks once again m8.

will let you know how it goes............

    regards

    just read it.

it will be on here very soon now
    on an offbeat matter..........

you may or maynot find this interesting........
for reasons best left unsaid, i drove my ex wifes car a couple of days ago to get some bits for it,etc.....

now its a 08 primera, and its meant to be a good model?

im not biased guys, it was ****ing ****!

it was, for want of a better word, like driving a coke can?
    very 'holllow'
    ?
loud road noise, horrible 'spikey' gearstick, and handbrake.

    idiot style instruments?

    ****ty brakes.

a massive 'austin maxi style' steering wheel.

it was like driving a hollow tin can fellas!

    oh and was totally gutless.

    lol and respect.

Just an aside to this, Rushy may correct me, but I believe that there can be an issue with having no display screen in the car...
Previous threads have all but flat-packed the display (still connected), down the back of the facia, as the display is responsible for some of the canbus data linking / networking for the body control module and Collumn integrated module.

I may be wrong, but better safe than sorry...fore-armed is fore warned...or is it fore-armed means your hands won't fall off???
