kill me please haha, they just bug me, i remember the day when the salesman told me before i bought the car, i must of heard it more than once a week since, mentioned to one about getting the vectra gsi, hes like, haha vauxhall and understeer, obviously a top gear fan, sorry but my old fab vrs was the most understeering car ive ever driven, and ive driven alot! pensioner loving arses!

I'd happily consider a Skoda myself; I quite like the Octavia. IIRC, the 2-litre diesel vRS Octavia weighs in at around 170bhp.

Yep, 168bhp.......and the petrol vRS is 197bhp.

I couldn't care less where my engine came from, as long as it was reliable. And the 2.0T in mine is to all intents and purposes a Saab engine, and remapped by a another Swedish company, BSR.

i loved my fabia it was great fun, remap takes them to 180 bhp, but skoda drivers as a whole are arrogant bores, i used to deliver to one, if he didnt tell me about floor plans and engines more than 40 times id be shocked, going on about co2 emissions
