My £30/month O2 contract has just come to an end. I wasn't using the minutes so I rang them up and said I wanted something cheaper. All I needed was around 50 mins and 100 texts a month.
Fine they say...we can do that for £8/month. Great says I. I then say I don't need a new phone. Fine says 02, in that case we'll credit £75 to your account.

I don't have to pay anything for 9 months. Just goes to show that if you don't ask, you don't get!

i done that as well mate , but i opted for the new handset, then put it straight on ebay for £150 which sold straight away with buy it now!!

u should do that and double your money!!

Try 3 mobile. My deal was Nokia N70, Talk 1100 ( 600 mins talk, 400 texts, video calling, music downloads free, etc etc ) all for £27 a month. And walked out of the shop with a free Bluetooth and £30 in me bin.
