Air con !!!

Just been out in car turned air con on and it is ''hissing'' like mad and not working..... it may just be that it needs re gassing but the garage told me that they had done it before i picked car up... and i have never heared this on any cars at all....

Any ideas folks ???

1. What age is it??
2. When was it regassed and by whom??
3. Do you run the air con regularly??

o6 plate....regassed (apparently) 1 months ago not by dealer and i hardly every used it but i checked it before i left garage and it worked ??

Is the car still in warranty mate - sounds familiar to mine. The Condenser seals were replaced under warranty in Feb this year - and in May, when the warranty has just expired, the condenser fails again..... funny that eh!

Did they do the dye test on it to check for leaks before gassing it up??

i have no idea if they did any testing mate i didnt work wen i test drove the car and they said they would fix it... wen i picked car up it worked.... so never thought any thing about it.... the car is only just out of manifactures warrenty but luckly i took 3 years extended warrenty so i will be booking it in after my jolly holls for air con and 3rd injector probs..
