    Default Strut brace fitted!

Got the strut brace fitted today, it was quite easy to do.
First I had some doubts about the need of a strut brace because the strut towers are already welded into the firewall. But after a short test drive, I felt the difference it made to the front end right away.

    Here are couple of pics:

You defiantly think it's made a difference mate?

The only reason I ask is because I fancy one but only if i'm going to feel the difference in it?

I was sceptic too, but at least with the heavy 3.2 lump the difference is clear. I have yet driven only on a city streets, but especially in the cobble stone road you can feel the difference in the steering wheel.

Fitting was easy, but I don't know whether there is same space under the brake fluid and coolant reservoirs with other engines.

I bought it directly from Lexmaul, 149€ (~£126) + delivery to Finland.

    Thanks mates!

Now I have some miles on the highway also, and the car feels much more solid, go kart feeling indeed . A nice improvement to the Irmscher suspension setup.

Yeah I know there is a local dealer also (or two in fact), but I wanted to get it directly from Lexmaul this time.
