Knowing your limit

when i reach my 9th pint i know ive had enough, anymore then the wife starts looking border line attractive again and i know its going to lead to bother

before my several medical conditions reared up i could easily drink 15+ pints easily on a night out but now with various medications i don't drink at all

I have two drinking speeds:

1. Keep drinking at a pace wherby I eventually throw up...

2. Go at my own pace where I can keep going all night without really getting drunk - just tipsy and in a state whereby i need to hold on to stuff...

I never used to know my limit,i could easily drink 12+ pints and few shorts and shots,only realise i've drank too much when i wake up the next morning......

So i don't drink to excess very much because of that,its been different since my little one came along though,just drink sensible now,so have to vote 8 pints........
