    Default Bonnet catch...

    why is this........

    if you try and close my bonnet normally it bounce's back up....

    so you give it a bit more and it almost crashes shut, it sounds like its going to crack the bumper...lol

    is there something that can be done?

    Is the bonnet release. The one you press to lift it open (under the bonnet) seized. That might need some oil too, as it may be stuck in it,s open position.

    it might also be that for some reason the bonnet had got miss alighned i,m sure ftom working on plasma's work car that there is some play in the catches .

    whilst it's open check and adjust the rubber contacts that screw up and down. These are what the bonnet sits on they may need to be screwed in or out to get it working right you can also get the bonnet sitting nice and flush with the wings using the outer ones.
