    Default help parking sensors

    hi all bought a parking sensor kit off don paul at billing then got a sri bumper of other member thanks john which had the cut outs for the sensors the problem is the hole is to big for my sensors .what i need to know can i buy some vauxhall sensors and will they be compatible with the kit i got luckly it is only the rear bumper as when i do the front i will drill the holes with the bit with the kit .

    not sure if the vx ones will be compatible with someone elses kit?

    what make's the one from Don Paul??

    amazed that parking sensor holes are a different size dependant on manufacturer

    they are gagetman kit and the hole size is 21mm if that helps

    Im pretty sure the hole for genuine factory fitted sensors is 21mm aswell, But VX do a kit that takes the same genuine sensor but the brackets require a 29mm hole for the sensor to fit in.. Not sure if VX ones will work with another kit though..

    You might be able to use the larger 29mm brackets for your sensors, they weren't very expensive from the dealers..

    thanks for the info guys hopefully the guy at the body shop will be able to sort it out for me just waiting on a boot spoiler then it will go to get sprayed then just need a twin exhaust
    just been out and they are 30mm

    I knew they were fairly cheap, as LMF ordered the bigger ones by mistake for me and they replaced them with the 21mm factory ones as thats what i needed, and told me to keep the others as it wasn't worth sending them back, i still have them somewhere..

    big pete would take them if you think they will fit the wireing on the aftermarket ones i have
