Default How much will Henry get fined?

I'm not a Arsenal fan at all, but have to agree with Henry this time.

Only thing is, how much is he going to get fined / banned for airing his opinions about the ref tonight?

I think it could be quite a large amount, at least £200.000 and a three match ban.

    Anyone else?

I didn't see what he said and i only caught the second half, but the ref was shocking and deserves a good slating.

Well as a qualified referee and referee's secretary i can honestly say that is one of the worst performances i have seen from a "highly rated" official. He will get slated by the assessors (if they do their job right) and i think he should not be allowed to officiate at that level for at least 3 seasons.
There were numerous fundimental errors in his handling of the game, the worst being his sending off of Lehman. He should have waited the 3 seconds he is allowed to see how the attack developed and seeing that Barcelona scored, allowed the goal to stand but booked Lehman for his tackle.
I am not an Arsenal fan but i am a football fan. I think Henry was entitled to express his opinions and it will be interesting to see the action taken.

Agreed, i don't think the ref got a single decision right all night. He gave yellow cards for good tackles, free kicks for no contact, and when there was contact, he waved play on. The sending off was silly, the goal should have stood.

On the other hand, if henry had stuck away the one on one in the second half, it would have been completely different. Its ok blaming everyone else, but henry was poor tonight. He didn't look interested half the time. Admittedly, he was good on the ball, but did nothing when he didnt have the ball.

Ref wasn't that good to be fair - but Arsenal have nothing to complain about...

    1. - If the ref was being 'a good ref' he'd have let the first Barca goal stand, and sent Lamen off...(the law allows this BTW)

    2. - If the ref was being 'a good ref', Arsenal wouldn't have scored their only goal of the game - directly from the free kick won by - cheating - diving - scamming - lying or whatever else you want to call it....

Ref's are there to make split second decisions - yes they're not always right - yes they dont follow the rule book all the time - but moaning about it after the game has ended is pointless - he's not going to say "sorry lads, I think I was wrong, lets have a re-match!"...is he?

And in reply to the title of this thread - yes he should be fined - but he wont be no doubt!!!! Football seems to be more and more one rule for one and another for another...

To be fair the foul leading to Arsenals goal shouldn't of stood either. There was little or no contact.
