Default Mudflaps + Irmscher bodykit - do they fit?

Thought I should start a new thread rather than get my problems lost in the barney which has ensued from the last one on this subject!

Have been trying to get mudflaps to fit nicely with an Irmscher bodykit and I'm not too happy with the results.

I tried various mudflaps, facelift/pre-facelift and then decided I would try bending the best of them to follow the skirts. I even tried modifying a set of mudflaps with a sharp modelling knife and screwdriver blade heated in a blowtorch flame, to smooth the edge, but it wasn't an improvement on standard.

Then went off and got them colour coded and maybe it's because they now look like they should be a part of the bodywork, the gaps show up worse.

Any suggestions (apart from offers to buy them off me)? Some pics below:

    Maybe I'm expecting too much...???

by the looks of it they are not designed to fit with your side skirts maybe the other type would be better

The ones in the first pic are the same as the ones in the last pic aren't they? Front and rear are different

Fronts and rears are different. Rear ones are for pre-facelift. The facelift ones I bought were even worse (they're for sale)! Yet Phil's rear ones seem to tuck in at the bottom quite neatly. Just not sure how much brute force I should apply...

I'd say the rears are ok but your right about the fronts. I wouldn't use too much force though because of them being painted

Got them on at last. Not 100% happy, fronts still a bit 'gappy' as Big Rich would say but I've got a plan... I'll tell you if it works!
Rears just don't follow the lower bumper but it doesn't seem so noticeable from a distance - at least the bodywork will get protected a bit - there always seemed to be mud splattered down the side of the car five minutes after washing it
