Default Would "Crystal" repeaters work ok?

I found silver crystal indicators on ebay the other day. Is there any detrement to using them? i.e. would i need to spend a tenner on a bulb every time it popped or any fitting probs etc? they're made by a company like ace parts or something...

Also how do I get the headlights to display pure white/blue light instead of the usual "car headlamp yellow" tinge? Again is this a case of £10 a bulb and that's it done, or do I have to switch the whole headlamp unit?

    Thanks in advance...

indicator bulbs are fine....many have changed to those to get rid of the poached egg look ...headlight bulbs there are many choices of those too.

no worries.............bought them indicators cos they was slightly different from the standard clear jobs and putting an orange bulb in don`t show up as bad cos they`ve got a reflective bit inside that hides the bulb
