Default Green Stuff or Red Stuff Pads?

Heya Guys, quick question for everyone. im replacing the front pads on teh vectra soon as there about 70% worn now. so i was wondering green stuff or red stuff? theres no point putting turdy vauxhall standard pads back on thats for sure!!

is there a differnce with green stuff? some people say the vectra is a bit too heavy for the Green Stuff. but obviously my 2.0DTI is NO where near the 200Bhp+ that the red stuff pads recomends lol

    Ta Guys and Gals,

    Will

Don't quote me on this (feel free to jump in and correct me people ) green stuff are prob your best bet on std discs and should be alot better than oem pads. The red stuff ones need a little more heating up but will be more resistant to fading but will prob eat up standard discs and possibly warp them to under serious heavy braking.. I'd say that if you are happy with your brake performance at present, go for green stuff or even stick with std pads... there are 'police' spec pads available which are better than std but someone else will have to fill you in on those.

Personally I would get the green stuff ones as they really keep the brake dust down too

Go greenstuff. Great pads with next to no dust. Red stuff take a bit of heating before you benefit from them.

Theres a cliche ! To use red pads properly and to stop you safely, you have to rag the car to death to warm them up so they work !! lol

Have been to Courtenay Sport last week bought EBC Grooved and dimpled discs, but they have supplied me with Yellow pads. Your opinions required please, the car is mainly driven by the missus. I do drive it hard, but it never does many miles to warm the brakes up really
