Hi mate, this is a job i've had to do fairly recently. I ended up changing both near side and off side, as the car was stripped so far I also put new track rod ends on too.

If you just want to fix the problem and re-use old kit your looking at £25 for the inner tie rod kit (from Vx) and then labour on top.

I'll tell you straight, that it is a complete pig of a job to get the old tie rod out. Vx must have some specialist tools to do it with to make it easy. I did manage in the end but ended up having to get someone to give me a hand with the car up on a proper ramp and the other person going in with a spanner from the top of the engine while I tackled it from the underneath. This is one job I'd be happy to pay to have done next time round, this was the OSF inner tie rod.

You may also need a your trascking done after it too. Just count how many turns it taes to unscrew the old track rod end before fitting to the new inner tie rod.

    HTH,

    Bri.
