    Default Brake Pad

    Hi

    i need your help, I have the yellow circle warning came up (no flashing) and I think it the brake pad indicator?

    what doe that mean? doe it mean I need the new brake pad and how much do yout hink it should cost?

    Pads and discs are about £60 from Vx i think , fronts easy to do

    Dont have Vx here locally, if I buy from online or ebay, what the best brand brake pad?

    Get them from www.autovaux.co.uk

    Will be either a Vauxhall product, or matching OE.

    Did this light also have 3 lines either side of the circle along its circumference?

    Its got a yellow circle with 3 little box outside of the yellow circle,

    Yep, that's the low brake pad warning light.

    However, it doesn't mean to say the pads have worn down. The wires to the sensors could be faulty.

    Ultimately you really need to have a good nose around and visually inspect all of the pads to see if they're worn.

    Pads are £50 on their own..

    Pads and disc kit are £51.02 + vat and delivery, Mintex too

    Add a couple of quid if your car is sri or "sports"

    I use autovaux a lot for spares they can get just about anything and they really helpful, cannt recommaned them enough.

    I believe that the sensor is only wired to the front pads. VX assumed that the front and rears would need replacing about the same time, and the front would wear out first and give an early warning for the rears.
