    Default Is the tailgate glass bonded in?

    As above. I have a heavily scratched rear glass and want to know if i can change it myself. Thanks in advance

    Well i thought that but seeing as the side quarterlights can be removed i thought the tailgate glass may be the same.

    Whilst mine is the estate. Mine does look bonded in as you can see the edge of the glass. So I too would presume the hatchback to be bonded too.

    yes m8 the rear window is bonded in, it can be taken out , but use a windscreen comp to do it. They have to cut it out with cheese wire, then old bond on car scrapped down to leave about 1 mm then they re activate this, then they put on new bond then the window goes in.It will take about 2hrs to do the job then 3 hrs for the bond to dry...Cant wash the car for at least 24 hrs after and also drive with the windows up for 24 hrs, or it will push the window out.....hope this helps....
