the performance filters are pre oiled or oiled during service

If you use to much oil on the filter to clean it or the filter has been pre-oiled too much, then this oil can sometimes find its way onto the MAF sensor (this is the sensor that measures airflow) and cause all sorts of running problems.Do not use more than the recommended amount of oil when cleaning your K&N type filters.
