Default Elite Trim and/or Sri Centre Arm Rest

Anyone know how much it might cost to remove that nasty wood effect trim and replace with any other colour?

Alternatively, is it possible to fit the SE/Elite arm rest to an SRI (not sure about the impact on the handbrake?

    Thanks

    Chris

No idea on the trim price, I'll prolly find out in the next few weeks if I have time. The arm rest from an SE/Elite would interfere with the handbrake on the SRi.

It's good quality plastic, not nasty.

Disagree, i think the quality of the plastics on my elite, especially the fake chrome is horrid and squeaks like mad over bumps.

If VX really want to compete with BMW, Audi etc they really need to look at using better quality materials.

The Insignia Elite (2.8) i test drove felt superior to the quality of my (brother-in-laws) BMW 330d. period. (2007 and £40,000)......His previous BMW 330cd had shocking interior quality for a £39,000 car! and yes, bits did drop off and sqeak and rattle etc.. So these thoughts that people have saying BMW / Audi never have these problems is utter bull!

If your car has rattles and squeaks (which by looking at your profile is an Insignia) then get it sorted, simple.

Anyhow, back to topic.... As your car is a vectra you can keep an eye out on ebay, i think other models like the design and even the life uses the aluminium effect trims as in the SRIs. but me..... i actually prefer the fake wood!

the design has a styled blue trim not an alloy effect
