Default What a way to treat our Heroes.

While we have another 4 dead heroes arrive back into the UK the govenment legal team are in court trying to overturn payments made previously to some seriously injured troops. They are also trying to reduce down the payments currently made by the MOD to our troops, look at the figures yourself in comparison to civil payments.

I am ashamed to be British.

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...-pinchers.html

I can tell you that the payment made by the MOD in 1971 for the loss of a leg was £2014.74, a loss of a Index finger was £154.28.

They will pay a woman with a RSI injury claim almost half a million pounds, but they resent paying compensation to our injured troops. Are the government stating that UK troops forfeit their human rights (which everyone else is using to advantage) when they volunteer to fight, so our kids dont have to go in their places.

Would the government have taken this action if all those injured troops had been british moslem troops, more likely they would have tripled the payments. It makes me want to vomit.

I know what you are saying matey, but disturbingly unless something is done to change the direction that this government wishes to take us down, our children will pay the ultimate price.

I note today that despite Dudley Council rejecting a planning application to build a huge £18m Mosque in the town after nearly 30,000 people objected.

Guess what! The councils decision (and the publics wishes) have been completely ignored as some beurocrat in Bristol has overturned the decision on appeal. The government has totally over-ruled councilors and given the go-ahead. One of these will eventually be on every corner in the Uk within 20 years.

Default Defence Minister Reverses decision after reading Cameron's Posts

Well it seems all these posts critising the MOD in its treatment to injured troops has been noticed, and I am pleased to see that for second time in 2 days yet another stupid bad decision had been reversed.

Well done vectra-c.com for influencing government policy... LOL
