I know I'll lose a lot of boot space, but to be fair I bought the vec because of the amount of stuff you have to carry with young kiddies. It's not really needed anymore.

The trouble is, this club is keeping me in the Veccy C, but I love the looks of the 888 CDTi. Decisions, decisions.

A battle I fight with myself too often mate.

They are fantastic motors and so much fun to drive. Get yourself down Thurlby or 888 and test drive one. Suspension/Brake setup is superb.

Vectra I am keeping as estate I use the space. The Astra would have to be parked up a bit too much otherwise.

Though then I think..... get a trailor

go for the silver, i think it loooks nicer, white one looks like it needs graphics or go faster stripes

I much prefer the white ones matey. This is the colour that Thurlby & 888 had in mind when the concept was first thought of, but they've bowed to people power and released it in other colours now.

i think the whites too plain, but each to theyre own....still a nice car though, what engine are they??

It has to be a white one if you get it ... The boot space isn`t bad on them that was my concern ? I toyed with the idea of a white 888 as well ....

imagine if thurlby produced a vectra 888? 20" Anthracite alloys, in white, 888 suspension package, 4 pot brakes with huge 380mm discs/bells, and an adaption of the VXR bodykit, all fitted to a 1.9cdti with 200bhp. Would you buy one? I think its the motorsport theme/look thats drawing you, not the astra itself. Do a 888 photoshop on a vectra and see what it would look like. Dogs danglies i reckon.
