    Default Buying a Porter cable

Right guys, I know I've taken ages about it but I'm finally going to buy me a porter cable.

I've been wanting one since the Leeds detailing day. I'll prob be ordering tomorrow. Just wanted to ask what products members here are using for their veccy's. My car isn't that bad for swirls. So mainly something for shine.

I'm going to order the poorboys 1,2, and 2.5. and also some P21S and anything else thats recommended. How many of the different pads should I be looking to order.

I've got my own Star Silver veccy ( that is 4 years old but was fully resprayed in sep05) a 4 month old Met Black Corsa. Also some cars from friends. including Blue met Alfa 156, Nissan 200sx met puprle, and a silver merc CL600. all needing a good going over. so I imagine i'd need different products for each card as per paint type ?

any help would be great thanks

p.s does anybody have the discount codes for ordering a PC. or should I ask on the DW site

Yes, go on DW and look-up "182 blue", pm him and ask if he has any Autopia discount codes.

As for pads, get a mixture to start with, the SFX & DAS pads kits that come with the pc are a good starting point and then you see which you prefer.

I think this is ok if you're buying the PC on its own, But I'll be buying loads of other stuff at the same time. I'm gettin enough to keep me going for a while. it works out alot cheaper from Autopia
