    Default road rage

i hate road rage!,i was on my way to a relatives this morning and on exiting a roundabout i was following a pug 206 rather more closely than i would do normally!,it wasnt malicious it was just that i had followed him over the roundabout to avoid being stuck by an endless stream of right turners,so naturally that meant i had to "bunch" to the car in front, which i did.Unfortunately though the bloke in front must have thought i was pressing him to hurry and subsequentley slammed on his brakes! if he had done that when i was driving the missuses corsa then the outcome may have been different, however its safe to say that all 4 discs and abs on the vectra are working perfectley!. A minor exchange of words ensued through the glass and he turned off and i went on my way,er happily, until the next roundabout when the guy pulled up along side me and again began to emit excretion through the window by which time i was now mega miffed and nearly got out the car! but thought better of it.I suppose the moral of this story is keep a suitable distance from the car in front even if your not tailgating them on purpose because you never know which physcopath is behind the wheel!

    I know how you feel.

To be honest though I have done something similar in the past.

It doesn't bother me if/when people come up a bit close as long as they eventually back off a bit (because I do the same too) so that I can at least see their headlights if not then I have dabbed the brakes a couple of times and it tends to work.

the old red mist is an amazing thing

we all ervert to primevil beings and want no one near our cars and would happily club any other person with the soggy end of their appendage that we had just ripped off

as you said hindsight is a wonderful thing - treat every road user as a threat and ensure you have enough space between you and the car in front as you never know when you may need to expidite a hasty exit for any or many reason

0-Large smile ......every time it's driven

A good bit of advice I can pass on when you have some one along side you mouthing off and sticking the fingers up is to blow them a

The look on the other persons face is great and it freaks them out so much they just leave you alone nice and calm.

You might feel a bit wired blowing a at another bloke but trust me it works.
