Another E-bay problem

My sons BMX has seen better days so I went on e-bay to find a cheap replacement I found this one which I thought looked good http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GT-Interceptor...lenotsupported I won the auction for £62 which seemed a bargain, I e-mailed the guy & tried his mobile (which was off), the auction only ended a few hours ago so I wasn't too concerned, I also tried to pay with Paypal but he didn't appear to have an account. Just about to go bed and I checked the guys items & he's relisted it http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GT-Interceptor...lenotsupported he's obviously a noob to ebay & didn't like the price he got, my kids gonna be gutted tomorrow when I tell him. He spent 1/2 the night cleaning & polishing his old bmx so that we could sell it.

As far as I'm aware if you list am item with no reserve you are legally bound to sell it for the selling price, like it or not.

If it sells with no reserve you got yourself a bargain. Problem is he may not be too bothered about bad feedback being new to the game. I would send him a message via ebay and ask for an invoice. If all else fails setup a new ebay account and bid £200 and see how he responds.

I would report him but cant see you getting any joy as he has no feedback so it wont bother him if ebay close his account,feel sorry for you bud hope you get it sorted

Just been going trough the e-bay "help section" hah, found this.

"(Q)The seller refuses to answer my emails, they will not acknowledge my valid transaction, or they have already sold the item.
(A) We cannot force a seller to honour their transaction obligations. You should leave appropriate Feedback for the reluctant seller to warn other buyers. Depending on your local jurisdiction, you may have independent legal recourse against the seller."

So it looks as if I have no recourse through e-bay, I'm going to try & get them to cancel the new listing & continue to ring the guy, if anyone wants to send him a text the number is on the listing lol.

Hi would you accept £100 cash on collection? Travelling to scotland next week up the M1 and it doesnt look like to much of a problem to stop by and collect on the way.

He's a Fookin Gooly!!! There thick as pig muck that lot. His mum's probably his sister. They can't think properly that lot cos of the fumes off the Ouse!!!
