Hi, wot a nightmare i`ve just had with the latest gearbox on a 56reg. DMF, Clutch, and Slave cylinder was goosed at 61k. Changed it and was on my way back in with the box. You have to pull the gear select linkage out to get to the top gearbox bolt. On the F40 its not a problem to put it back in. On this it was a pig. jiggling it about although not hard I accidently moved the top selector fork and it came off the gear selecter in the box. Gearbox back out. Split the gearbox, fit the selector back on and try again. Gearbox back in, put linkage back in. Sh-t, selector comes off again. Gearbox back out, Split it, Refit selector. Gearbox back in, jiggle with linkage and this time it slipped in... Wot a nightmare.. So if anyone is doin 1, be very carful puttin the gear linkage back in cos if you move the top selector fork at all, it will come off and drop 3 spring loaded bearings in the box...
